Come discover the ALBA synchrotron
A synchrotron could be defined in two words as a gigantic microscope.

But: what kind of microscope? Why gigantic? Why such a shape? For what purpose? …

To ask these questions and any other ones, two opportunities are offered to meet technicians and researchers from the ALBA synchrotron, including the possibility to visit this exceptional scientific facility located in the Barcelona Synchrotron Park:
Various activities suitable for everyone will be proposed in order to make better known what ALBA researchers do: Meetings, exhibitions, experiments, drawing contest and much more.

  • Saturday, October 11, from 10 AM to 6 PM: Open day in the ALBA synchrotron
Tour is free and lasts approximately one hour and 30 minutes. Visitors will follow a circuit running through the whole facility. This tour includes activities for all ages, workshops and experiments.
