The Vall d’Hebron Institut de Recerca becomes a UAB-affiliated research institute
The VHIR-Vall d’Hebron Institut de Recerca affiliation to the UAB will provide the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona the Barcelona Synchrotron Park cooperates with, with the chance to incorporate an important part of the resources in translational research in biomedicine and become a principal element in research and teaching in this field.
The VHIR is the main instrument of the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital (HUVH), the largest hospital complex in Catalonia and the second largest in Spain in terms of scientific production.
