BSP at Open Innovation Marketplace of Smart City Congress
The Open Innovation Marketplace is an initiative from Fira de Barcelona and XPCAT, the network of Catalan parks. The concept consists in offering entrepreneurs and SMEs that develop innovative solutions for smart cities a place to meet big companies and investors. 192 solutions were proposed this year, 50 of which were selected from 13 different countries. Big corporates were Microsoft, Schneider Electric, Aqualogy, Thales, Thyssenkrupp, Abertis Telecom and FCC and investors were Active, Baring Private Equity Partner, Eix Technova, American Industrial Acquisition Corporation and Sodena.
Barcelona Synchrotron Park participated in the selection of projects and accompanied Schneider Electric.
